Petrocelli - (TV) Neither too tall, nor too short, Anthony Petrocelli brings light into the lives of many, as he meanders through a too-short and oft-lamented TV series, in which he solves crimes and protects the innocent, in his role as hairy, homeless lawyer.
Not only an ace crime fighter, the hirsuit legal eagle is also a hit with the ladies, who love to snuggle up to his thickly carpeted chest and whisper sweet nothings.
The best thing about Petrocelli is the clever device used in many episodes, where the viewer is shown the crime being committed right at the beginning of the program! Surely a mistake, you gasp, where is the intrigue? You have underestimated the cunning of the editors. You are shown the crime, but, get this, only from a certain perspective. It is only when Petrocelli explains in court what really happened that we are shown the full picture, and realise the true perpetrator of the crime.
To surmise, I would say that Petrocelli shits all over Ironside, but Quincy is, and always will be, a longstanding winner (quality of programming is directly proportional to number of sidekicks. Petrocelli has two, Pete and Maggie, Ironside has three (who vary), but Quincy can get the job done with only the aid of loyal but long suffering Sam).
