Submitted by Ted, 30/03/2006 Lucas Syndrome noun A condition that tends to affect men in later life. The primary behavioural trend common in affectees is the public mockery of any work of value the subject achieved in earlier life, for the sake of a quick buck and a tantalising ego massage. Sufferers include Eric Idle, Sylvester Stallone, and of course, the best known sufferer, George Lucas. Sadly there is no known cure, and only the onset of rapid ageing promises to put an end to the undesireable behaviour. Other symptoms occasionally include plastication of the cheeks, or hair, and sometimes a sinking of the chin into the subject's neck or torso. Submitted by Dermot, 01/07/2008 Add to the Dictionary |
