Mysteriously, Robbie Williams has hinted that he'd like to be back in Take That. Is it at all possible that he's just noticed they're no longer considered to be a bunch of dorky teen idol losers, but that he has become one, and not only that, but they're currently much more successful than he's been for years?
Of course not, that would be silly. He just likes their music, that's all.
In other news...
This is a very sad and unfunny story, where a man who was drink driving at 120mph while masturbating killed a father and his son, leaving the mother devestated and alone. The BBC describe his drive as 'erratic'. Did they mean 'erotic'? Don't laugh at that, it's a tragedy, and there needs to be some new punishment for people like that to completely ruin their lives, the way they have ruined the lives of others. 8 years in prison isn't enough.
Speaking of being a bit "prison's too good for them", I heard on the radio that the government are trying to come up with new ways of forcing people on benefits to actively seek work.
Wouldn't it be better if you just made them do some work in order to get their benefits? There must be loads of stuff that needs doing that local councils would be happy to have done for free, or that would really serve a community, or even potentially raise revenue. If the work-shy refuse to do it, then they don't get their benefits. What's wrong with that? I am sure it would encourage more people to go and find a job of their own choosing. I've known people on the dole turn down part time work or one off jobs because they don't want to affect their benefits income. The lazy bastards - my taxes pay for your lazy lifestyle, and that war you totally failed to prevent - what are you hippies even good for? I also know someone who pays the same rent as me but doesn't work, despite being highly intelligent and very capable. I feel sick with anger when I think about it!
The work could be part time and flexible, enabling the dole scum to go out and look for jobs in their free time. When I am in charge, that is what I will do first.
If you can prove yourself totally incapable of working but without any medical excuse, your job will be to sit in a dark room out of everyone else's way. If the council seriously are unable to come up with jobs that don't take work away from the willing, then they should just think of something really boring people have to do for at least 20 hours per week before they can have their benefits. It can't be that hard to come up with something.
Also it should be totally impossible for anyone on benefits to generate more income (including housing benefits) than someone who works and earns enough to have to pay income tax.
If that makes me a fascist, maybe fascism isn't that bad after all?
