Hello all!

As you may have gathered, I have been absent from blogging for a few weeks.

I have been completing on our house and knee deep in paint, plaster and pains in the arse.

If any of you put wallpaper up, try and think of the poor bastards that will have to remove it.

We hired a steamer from HSS. A man served us who only had one working arm, this did nothing to reassure us of the merits of DIY. He then went on to explain that his hand was locked in a claw like shape and the arm was basically dead. I wanted to test this out by nailing his arm to the wall, by way of a test, but apparently this would be rude. I was more concerned about catching this one armed man out. We could all go around pretending to be hunky and macho by claiming to have a lame arm, but we chose not to.

We got to the house and then it dawned on us. Every single room was wall papered, not just the one or two we had remembered. Fuck.

So, for the last week and a half we have been removing wallpaper, washing walls, filling holes and now painting, which we finally finished last night. Joy.

I read in the news today that Kerry Katona Kerry Katona has accused presenter Phillip Schofield of being "ignorant and arrogant" when he asked if she was drunk on live TV.

The BBC website says, "Katona, 28, who appeared slurring her words on ITV1 show This Morning last year said her behaviour was down to medication for bipolar disorder.
"I said I had an illness and he just went: 'Are you drunk?' which I thought was quite rude," she said.

Despite that, the ex-Atomic Kitten star has vowed she will return to the show. The star, who was speaking at the launch of her latest reality TV series, Kerry Katona: What's Your Problem? said she was not happy at the way she had been treated. "I have a serious illness," she said. "But what really annoyed me when I was on This Morning was how they ignored the illness and my medication and just presumed I was a drunk."

Katona was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2006 and has been outspoken about the way the illness has affected her in the past.

Bipolar disorder, which affects half a million people in the UK, is characterised by periods of depression and mania.

When people have mania they are typically elated, overactive and need less sleep. They may also suffer from delusions or hallucinations and are at significant risk of suicide.

It would seem another side effect of Bi-Polar is to get a camera crew to follow you everywhere and record your highs and lows.

What gets me about this woman, is that she has now realised that her "mental illness" is her only viable means of income now. Iceland wouldn't go near her now and Atomic Kitten wouldn't want her back, even if they did reform. I wouldn't be surprised if this illness gets flogged to death (which she has now, surely?) she is hoping she gets a critical illness and gets Max Clifford on standby.

I think Katona is a despicable form of celebrity and would probably sell her own grand mother to get on TV. The very fact her saying she would never go on This Morning again now because of their "slur" that she was drunk and "slurring" her words, gets headline attention makes me want to self harm.

Do us all a favour you useless tart, fuck off.

*I have just read that Dom DeLuise died. This is very sad news. Dom DeLuise was in some of the most classic and underrated films of my formative years. From The Cannonball Run to Johnny Dangerously, Sherlock Holmes'Smarter Brother to The Muppet Movie. RIP Captain Chaos, you will be missed.
